Martin Waxman is a social media and communications strategist, principal of Martin Waxman Commmunications, Senior Counselor at Thornley Fallis Communications and co-founder of three PR agencies. He has worked in communications and PR for 25 years, and specializes in social media, consumer marketing, product launches, corporate and internal communications, b2b and entertainment.

He writes a blog, myPALETTE, is one of the hosts of the Inside PR podcast and can be found on Twitter @martinwaxman.

Martin received his APR from the Canadian Public Relations Society, teaches a social media course at McMaster University and guest lectures on PR at universities and community colleges. He's past-president of CPRS Toronto, a member of the PRSA Counselors Academy executive committee and its 2012 conference chair and on the Humber School of Comedy advisory board.

Martin has published two books of fiction, been a standup comedy MC, film and TV writer and freelance journalist. He received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in film, television and theatre from York University in Toronto.

Matt Hartley is an award winning Toronto-based writer and journalist with The National Post newspaper where he writes about technology and the Internet for the Financial Post.

As editor of the FP Tech Desk, he is responsible for overseeing technology coverage for the Financial Post.

A product of the Queen's Journal journalism factory at Queen's University, his stories have also appeared in the The Globe and Mail, in numerous technology magazines and across the Postmedia Network chain of newspapers. Erin is the Director of Content and Communications at recently-acquired startup Sprouter.com, and is passionate about web startups and new technologies.

She is a journalism graduate who writes a regular column about startups for The Financial Post, and has written for publications including The Globe and Mail, Mashable, Business Insider, and VentureBeat. She comments frequently in the press about entrepreneurship, and has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Forbes, CNN, and Canadian Business.
