Susan is a member of both the Financial Services and Real Estate and Urban Development Practice Groups. Susan specializes in a broad range of syndicated lending, banking, restructuring and enforcement, real estate, commercial leasing and environmental law related areas. Her practice involves secured financings, commercial acquisition, disposition and financing transactions, commercial and retail leasing, and environmental law related issues.



Laurent is acting as a legal adviser within the Firm’s business law area, specifically in the field of real estate law. He has been called to advise a large number of real estate promoters in cases pertaining to land assembly, real estate and shopping centres sale and acquisition, business acquisition and projects of divided and undivided co-ownership.



Beth practises in the area of commercial real estate law. She has more than 25 years of experience as general counsel at some of Canada’s leading commercial real estate companies and law firms. Over the past five years, she has developed a reputation as a leading leasing lawyer in Calgary’s commercial real estate market by representing tenants and landlords in negotiating complex leases for new and existing developments in the city.



Jack practises corporate and commercial law. He is co-chair of both Gowlings’ China Initiative and its Technology Industry Group in Vancouver. Jack is also actively involved in real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing matters. He works closely with clients on subdivisions, multi-unit residential and mixed-use developments, industrial and commercial leases, property management and expropriation.
