Canadian GAAP is changing and IFRS is coming. This highly practical session provides you with an understanding of what you need to do to prepare yourself for the level of IFRS knowledge appropriate for you. The first IFRS reporting period may be in 2011 but your transition work starts much earlier. You may be a CFO, a Controller, an accounting manager, auditor, or member of the audit committee. No matter what your position, and whether you work with an organization that will report under IFRS or not, you will likely want some level of IFRS knowledge. This session will help you assess your personal needs and help you to determine now, if you haven't done so already, what tools and training you need to include in your personal transition plan.
