With new standards for Canadian private enterprises final and available as of December 2009, it is time for practitioners to get familiar with the new standards. Private enterprises adopting the new accounting standards will benefit from better understand the similarities and differences between the existing standards and the new standards that become mandatory on January 1, 2011.
