Michael Gunns Michael Gunns is Managing Principal of the Gunns Group, which provides consulting services in corporate governance, strategy and risk management to a wide range of clients. He is a former Chair of the Risk Oversight and Governance Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and also chaired a CICA task force of prominent Canadian CFOs in advancing the role of CFOs in Risk Management and Corporate Governance. He has twice been a judge for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Corporate Governance Awards and was elected a Fellow of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2006. He regularly presents one-day public courses for the Ontario Institute in each of Corporate Governance and Risk Management. Michael is a graduate of Harvard Business Schools Advanced Management Program and has previously held executive positions at Zurich Canada and Sun Life. |
