Sara Oates
Sara has recently joined World Wildlife Fund Canada as VP Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the finance, administration and IT of this national organization. Prior to this she was an Associate Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she led their not-for-profit assurance practice in Toronto. She has worked with not-for-profit organizations for over 16 years and her clients have included charitable and philanthropic, membership and other not-for-profit organizations of all sizes. Sara is actively involved in the community. She is currently a member of the Audit and Administration Committee of the United Way Toronto. Previously, she was Treasurer and Executive Committee member of Yorktown Family Services, where she was an active member of the Board and Finance Committee for nine years. She was also a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation’s Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Accounting Standards Board/Public Sector Accounting Board’s Joint Not-for –Profit Task Force.
