In the form of an interactive discussion, our speakers discuss best practices concerning shareholder participation in the process of electing corporate directors and other topical governance issues. They explain how this participation should be done with a long-term perspective. They also comment on recent initiatives by regulatory authorities and shareholder groups, such as reducing the regulatory burden, legislative changes in connection with diversity and corporate democracy, and proposals concerning access by shareholders to the process of electing corporate directors.
