Some modifications to the Municipal Depot Transportation and Processing Incentive Program (MDT&PIP) are being made that will take effect April 1, 2013. The following changes will affect those service providers that currently transport materials under this program:
- Harmonization of the zones, moving from the current six zones to nine new zones
- Rebalance of the incentive rates to reflect the new zones
- The introduction of a fuel surcharge rate
As part of our ongoing commitment to engage stakeholders in helping us evolve programs, we are holding a webinar that will outline the changes to the program, and provide an opportunity to ask questions. The webinar will be held on Thursday March 7, 2013, at 10:00am.
