Welcome to the Continuous Improvement Fund's (CIF) online webcast of the 14th Ontario Recycler Workshop (ORW) hosted in partnership with Waste Diversion Ontario, Stewardship Ontario, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario and the City of Toronto. The workshop begins at 9 a.m. EDT (Toronto time) on Wednesday, April 18 and ends at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Accessing Presentation Slides
You can open the online webcast presentation page anytime after 8:45 a.m. on April 18, by clicking on the WATCH NOW button that will appear on the bottom left side of the page.
Workshop Topics
This ORW combines an Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) workshop session on blue box funding models and a report on the Blue Box Optimization Study, with a CIF program update. The ORW agenda is available at the ORW webpage on the CIF website.
Questions and Comments
The day's agenda is divided into three segments. The morning and afternoon presentations will each feature breakout sessions and there will be opportunities for questions a number of times during the workshop. You can submit your questions and comments by clicking on the "Questions/Comments" link on your screen, then click "submit."

This ORW includes several discussion/breakout sessions. We have taken steps to ensure participants who are on the webcast can engage in the breakout sessions.

How to Participate in the Afternoon Breakout Sessions
While attendees in the room will be working in breakout groups for various portions, we will invite webcast participants to complete brief surveys on the screen to share your thoughts on the topics at hand.
How to Participate in the Afternoon "Live Demo"
Please sign up to attend a small webinar through which you will be able to view a live demo that takes place in the afternoon session. We have set up a 'go to webinar' session for this brief interlude. You can sign in anytime, then simply click over to the webinar when prompted by the speaker, and back to the webcast at the conclusion of the demo.

Breaks
There will be a morning and an afternoon break. Listen for specific restart times as these may vary. A 40-minute lunch break will occur at about noon.
Tips
- Remember to turn on your computer speakers before the presentation begins.
- If you're using a laptop, external speakers or a headphone can enhance the sound quality.
- Turn up the sound by moving the sound "slider" at the bottom right of the webcast screen.
- The slides will advance automatically once the workshop begins.
- The presentation slides and links to the "CIF on the Web" resources will be available online at the ORW webpage.
