Wendy is a partner and leader of the Firm's Transportation and Logistics National Practice Group. Her practice focuses on international trade law and media law.

In her international trade law practice, Wendy represents the firms’ clients in matters involving NAFTA, WTO, anti-dumping and countervail, export & import controls and all aspects of customs. In addition, she advises clients regarding customs compliance, AMPS and and other legal issues of significance to the transportation industry. She has appeared as counsel on trade related matters before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and the Federal Court of Canada.
The Hon. Lawrence Cannon, P.C., is a strategic adviser and chair of the Government Affairs Group in Gowlings' Ottawa office.

A former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lawrence was first elected to the House of Commons in 2006 and has several years of public service experience at all levels of government. In addition, he has extensive experience working with foreign governments and institutions. While in government at the federal level, Lawrence also held the role of Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, and Minister responsible for Quebec to the Government of Canada.
